State Incentive Grant (SPF/SIG)
In 2004, BSAAS received a Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) five-year incentive grant of $11.75M ($2.3M annually) to meet the following federal goals: 1) Build prevention capacity and infrastructure at state and community levels; 2) Prevent the onset and reduce the progression of substance abuse, including childhood and underage drinking; and 3) Reduce substance abuse-related problems in communities. more...
